As such, we are looking to appoint a Key Accounts & Distribution Director to this significant and high impact role, where you can operate as a change agent in an organisation poised for significant ongoing growth.

Responsibilities;

• This key position demands an individual with the commercial acumen and intellectual horsepower to create innovative solutions to bring sustained competitive advantage.

• Reporting to the Sales Director, you will manage a small team and your role will be to create, develop and implement a Key Account sales strategy for the UK and Ireland, whilst formulating appropriate customer relationships encompassing key account management, business development and sales execution.

• You will lead all revenue and margin activities and will ensure that the business can respond to a number of sectors experiencing major change and will bring fresh impetus to customers whilst developing long term alliances.

• You will understand market segments, drivers and opportunities in order to develop highly differentiated segmented key account strategies to achieve sales growth and market share for customers to include; distributors, buying groups, the ‘Nationals’ and key online players.

• Take a lead role in driving business growth covering multichannel and brand ownership in an organisation where year on year growth is a given.

• Proactively identify trends and product requirements and associated route to market strategies to deliver effective and manageable solutions.

• To produce forward plans to identify new market opportunities with special emphasis on added value products.

• To drive impact leadership to the team.

• Commercial in nature, you will have the ability to operate in a dynamic hands on environment in order to drive credible, high impact key account strategies focused acutely on growth.

• You will have an outstanding track record of key account management and delivery gained within a forward thinking organisation where best practice is part and parcel of everyday life.

• As such, your background will most likely have been gained in a number of best practice sectors where you will have been exposed to customer bases including; distribution, buying groups, the ‘Nationals’, key online players i.e. bathrooms, kitchens, tiling, flooring, white goods, CCTV, smart technology, where product design and aesthetics is of paramount importance.

• Tactical, commercial and credible and equal measure, you will have a passion for excellence and will be distinguished by your vision for business growth and your ability to achieve major breakthroughs in key accounts and sales performance.
