Responsibilities:

  • This position in responsible for supporting and aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units and as such, you will serve as a strategic partner to key stakeholders on all HR related issues.
  • Reporting to the VP of HR, you will be based in Reno where you will proactively drive the people agenda for the business.
  • You will be required to lead generalist HR activities aligning HR accurately with the business objectives and you will act as a catalyst of change and help to create a progressive HR people framework.
  • This is a hands-on influential position with both an operational and strategic bias, where you will challenge the HR function and lead a wide range of HR initiatives and understand where HR can add significant value to the commercial agenda.
  • Your brief will be wide ranging and clearly people, organization and cultural development will be a vital component delivering the improvement necessary to compliment growth plans.
  • As such, you will be required to influence a range of HR activities to include; employee relations, talent management, labor relations, resourcing, training & development, organisational development, data analytics etc.

  • This is without doubt a significant and influential role, critical to business success and therefore demands an individual who enjoys a growth agenda with substantial challenge and autonomy.
  • As such, we are looking for an individual who can demonstrate an acute appreciation of contemporary HR tools and techniques and who wants to make their mark in a formidable organisation.
  • Degree qualified (you may also possibly be PHR/SPH qualified), your background will have been gained in a dynamic forward thinking organization most likely in a best in class industry sector i.e. manufacturing, engineering, logistics/ warehousing/distribution, tech industry etc., where you will have been exposed to best in class HR principles.
  • You will challenge the status quo and demonstrate critical insight and will be expected to lead high impact HR initiatives linked to the values of the culture of the organisation.
  • Intuitive, tactical and credible in equal measure, you will have a passion for change management and will be distinguished by your abilities to achieve excellence within the people agenda.
